Aluminium Foil Defrost Heaters, also known as Mirror Heaters, are specifically designed for surface heating applications.Aluminium Foil Defrost Heaters heaters are commonly used for anti-condensation and defrosting purposes. One of the main applications of Mirror Heaters is in mirror heating, where they are used to remove moisture from mirrors in bathrooms, shower rooms, or change rooms in homes. Additionally, Mirror Heaters can also be used in battery warmers, cabinets, heated food tables, and laboratory equipment. The construction of Mirror Heaters is similar to Thermo Radiant panel heaters, as they consist of a twin conductor with primary insulation of Fluoropolymer and a metal sheathing over two cores. These cores are sandwiched between two layers of specially reinforced aluminium foil. One side of the aluminium foil has a self-adhesive with release paper, making it easy to install the Mirror Heater in place. The uniform spacing of heating elements in Mirror Heaters ensures even heat distribution, preventing condensation from forming on surfaces. By maintaining a consistent temperature, Mirror Heaters effectively minimize the risk of moisture buildup and subsequent damage. Construction
Aluminium Foil Defrost Heaters comprises Fluoropolymer insulated heating element sandwiched between two layers of Aluminium foil. The bottom side of the Aluminium foil is provided with pressure sensitive adhesive coating for fixing on the surface to be heated. The Cold lead of desired length for power connection is provided.
Aluminium Foil heaters can also be provided with a temperature limiter preset at desired temperature for precise control (optional).
It is available in predetermined lengths with cold tail – prefabricated & tested in a carefully controlled factory environment.
