Self-regulating freeze protection heating cables(STF) or Thermo Trace Self Regulating Tracer (STF) consists of a self-regulating parallel circuit of a semi-conductive heating core extruded over plated copper bus wires. Modified Polyolefin insulation over semi-conductive heating core provides electrical insulation, over which a metal sheathing is provided for earthing. An outer sheath of Modified Polyolefin makes the heating cable robust and water proof.
STF is available factory terminated and as in continuous lengths on drums.
It is available in predetermined lengths with cold tail – prefabricated & tested in a carefully controlled factory environment
