Construction
The Self Regulating Freeze Protection Cable (FPC-SR) utilizes the same self-regulating technology as the Self Regulating Cables mentioned earlier. This means that it adjusts its heat output based on the cable core material temperature, ensuring efficient and effective freeze protection. As the temperature drops, the cable automatically increases its heat output to prevent freezing, and as the temperature rises, it decreases its heat output to conserve energy.
Modified Polyolefin insulation over the semi-conductive heating core provides electrical insulation, over which Aluminum tape with coated copper screening or Aluminum tape with an earth drain wire metal sheathing is provided for earthing. An outer sheath of Modified Polyolefin / Fluoropolymer makes the heating cable robust and waterproof.
In addition to its freeze protection capabilities, the Self Regulating Freeze Protection Cable (FPC-SR) is also known for its durability and longevity. It is designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions, such as extreme temperatures and moisture, without compromising its performance. This makes it a reliable solution for long-term freeze protection needs.
